Delete your Tagsbay account

In the app

1. Open the side menu on Home, then Settings.
2. Tap Delete my account, read what will happen, and tap Delete account.
3. Enter the code we send to your account's phone or email, to confirm it's you.

Before you delete, you can save a copy of your data: Settings, then Privacy center, then Download your data.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, email privacy@tagsbay.com with the subject "Delete my Tagsbay account". Send it from the email address on your account, or include the phone number you sign in with. To protect your account, we'll send a confirmation link to that email or phone, and the deletion starts when you open it. We never ask you to send us a sign-in code.

What happens next

• Your account is closed right away and your profile is hidden from others.
• Within 30 days we delete your profile, posts, comments, stories, clips, saved items, wishlist, your shopping profile (Your TIP), searches and the personal details on your orders.
• If you sign in again during those 30 days, your account is restored and nothing is deleted.
• Models that learned from your activity stop using it from their next training.

What we keep, and why

Some records must be kept by law even after an account is deleted:

Order, payment and tax records	Kept as long as tax and consumer laws require (usually up to 7 years), then deleted. They are kept apart from your profile and used only for those legal duties.
Reports and safety actions	Kept only where needed to prevent fraud or abuse, or to meet a legal request.
Messages you sent to others	Copies other people already received stay in their chats, shown without your name or picture.
Your Tagsbay balance	Use or withdraw your balance before deleting. Any amount left is handled under our Terms of Use.

Deleting only some data

You don't have to delete your account to remove data. In the app you can delete posts, clips and messages one by one, clear your searches, and see, correct, pause or delete Your TIP in the Privacy center.
